Managing Quantity Surveyor
Go Traffic Management has operated since 2007 initially serving clients in the North West from 3 depot bases.
Since then, the business has grown nationally and operates from over 20 dedicated depots plus an additional 47 client sites.
We are now one of the UK’s leading traffic management organisations. Across the nation, we provide traffic management, event management, traffic management design and pedestrian management.
With a resource base over 300 people, we work as a strong team delivering major traffic management solutions for utilities, building construction companies and local authorities.
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies; managing costs and regional performance for the business. This role will see you take control of all financial aspects of the project; overseeing all commercial & contractual matters. You will deliver desired margin return utilising high standards of commercial acumen. Whilst identifying, recording and tracking, both risks and opportunities.
We are looking for someone to manage the contract performance including weekly P&L reporting
We are looking for someone to review contract documents and mitigate any issues
We are looking for someone to control the progress and cash flow forecast information
We are looking for someone to manage commercial forecasts, Cost Value Reconciliation (CVRs) and Project Finance Reports
We are looking for someone to take responsibility for Subcontractor Management; including Subcontract Forecasting, raising Subcontractor Orders and Negotiating Subcontract terms
We are looking for someone to prepare subcontract documents, enquiries and assessment of quotations
We are looking for someone to oversee subcontract orders, agreement and certification of subcontract valuations, invoice, subcontract payments and final account agreements
We are looking for someone to be responsible for the management of the change control process, risk and value management
We are looking for someone to manage and track project changes, variations and/or notices
We are looking for someone to assess and value variations and compensation events
We are looking for someone to prepare and submit interim valuations and payment applications to clients, along with the agreement of final accounts
We are looking for someone to attend risk review, progress and commercial meetings on-site with the Client
We are looking for someone to be actively involved with tenders and pricing
We are looking for someone to oversee Credit Control with cash recovery and forecasting
We are looking for someone to support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects
