Go Traffic Management is Awarded Transport Contract by Coventry City Council

From 29th August 2022, Go Traffic Management will be acting as the single supplier for Coventry City Council for traffic management.

Coventry City Council has an active Highways Team delivering a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance across the city and often requires experienced traffic management support to undertake these activities. This framework enables the Council to efficiently get the support they require when and where they need it to keep their team safe and traffic flowing.

Services include road closures and diversions, temporary traffic signals, and lane closures, all supported by detailed traffic management drawings (including diversion routes).

Dan Holland, Chief Executive, said: “We are thrilled with this contract award and are looking forward to working in collaboration with Coventry City Council to support their Highways Team with our traffic management services.”

“We have extensive experience working with public sector clients and are well-equipped to support the Council as they carry out their pre-planned highways programmes as well as their emergency response work.”

GTM has supported my career path

I started working for GTM in July 2021 as a traffic Management operative…I then got extra training and achieved my M3-M5 Lantra qualification, GTM has supported my career path and I gained my HGV class 2 licence. I was offered a supervisors role I took the opportunity and each day a boosted my confidence.

I have now being enrolled on a 2 year scheme to start my SHEQ role in Health & Safety. GTM is a place you can climb the ladder to better your career path.
